  • High school sophomores, juniors and seniors must have:
    • A minimum overall 3.0 grade point average (GPA) (on a 4.0 scale) or a minimum 21 composite ACT score
    • GPA's between a 2.5-3.0 GPA must have a GPA Exception Form completed by the school district.
  • High school freshmen must have:
    • An overall 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), a score in the 90th percentile or above on the ACT or SAT, a signed letter of recommendation from your principal and guidance counselor and written permission from a parent or legal guardian
• Some courses have prerequisites that must be completed prior to registration. Course prerequisites and corequisites can be found on our 

Tuition for 2024-2025 HSCP Dual Credit courses will be $75 per credit hour:

*Tuition rates are set by the University of Missouri Board of Curators in July each year, and are subject to change.

Students will complete a "FutureRoo" application ONCE to receive their 性视界传媒 ID and SSO. This information will be used to enroll in myHSCP.

To Add or Drop a course, please submit a request on myHSCP (under Student Portal).  It is helpful to have the 性视界传媒 course name, your high school instructors name, and your 性视界传媒 Student ID number.

 

 Drop Policy:

  • A student may drop 性视界传媒 classes from a course up to 8 weeks after the start of the term and receive a 100% refund. After the 8th week of the term, a 50% refund and a W grade will be given (up to 10 weeks after the start of the term—there is no refund after the 9th week).  
  • The deadline to withdraw with a “W” will be 12 weeks after the start of the term.  
  • When a student withdraws after the 12th week, a ‘W' grade will be recorded on the student's 性视界传媒 transcript for each course. A change to a student's high school schedule does not automatically change the status at 性视界传媒.  Students must complete a course drop request form to be removed from the 性视界传媒 course roster.  Students are responsible for notifying 性视界传媒-HSCP of any schedule changes regarding dual credit courses.

  • Withdrawals must be initiated through the High School College Partnership office at 816-235-1165 or umkc-hscp@umkc.edu.

  • October 20 - first installment due
  • November 20 - second installment due
  • December 20 - final payment due

Spring Payment Due Dates

  • March 20 - first installment due
  • April 20 - second installment due
  • May 20 - final payment due

Payment Options

A student may not enroll for subsequent semesters until all accounts are paid in full. No copies of transcripts will be issued or further enrollments confirmed if any financial obligations are outstanding to the university.

Prepay the full amount online or by check online (Please check your Dual High School Application # before you proceed - This number is received by email after application is submitted)

Spring HSCP One Credit Tuition Assistance (Closes February 17, 11:59 PM)

HSCP’s Tuition Assistance* is a one-hour credit offered through our program. Through our partnerships, we are able to provide a small number of students with tuition assistance based on financial need.  Please use the *.

Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment Scholarship by Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development

Students can receive the scholarship for dual credit or dual enrollment courses taken from most Missouri public and private colleges and universities that offer such coursework.
